– Crafts and Games for kids aged 5 and up from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm at Dorchester Veteran’s Community Hall located at 4955 Main Street. Pre-registration is required.

Tuesday, March 7th:
– Clay Making Workshop for kids aged 8-13 from 1:00 – 4:30 pm at Bill Johnstone Memorial Activity Centre, 64 Main St . Artist Maddison Bragg will help participants create, paint, decorate and finish their own sculpture! Pre-registration required.
– Cooking Classes from 3:00 – 4:30 pm at Dorchester Veterans Community Centre (downstairs) 4955 Main St. Learn how to make pizza and pudding then eat the finished product. There will also be games. Pre-registration is required.

Wednesday, March 8th:
– Indoor and Outdoor Activities for kids aged 5-10 from 2:00 – 4:30 pm at Bill Johnstone Memorial Activity Centre,64 Main St. Enjoy indoor and outdoor activities, and decorate homemade cookies! There will be lots of games from Pictionary to an obstacle course. Bring outdoor wear. Pre-registration is required.
– March Break Trailblazers for kids aged 5-7 from 2:00 – 4:30 pm at Salem Elementary School around Back at the Kiss “N” Drop. Learn some amazing outdoor survival skills like shelter building, fire starting, animal tracking and more! Pre registration is required.

Thursday, March 9th:
– Guided Snowshoe from 10:00 – 11:30 am at the Walker Road Trail, Exit 500, Highway 2. Join the Tantramar Outdoor Club for a guided snowshoe of the Walker Road Trail System. Bring your own snacks and hot drinks. Some snowshoes provided. Pre-registration required.
– Secrets of 3D drawing for kids aged 6-10 from 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm at Bill Johnstone Memorial Activity Centre 64 Main St. Join Kamaya Lindquist as she teaches participants how to create an amazing 3D drawing. Pre-registration is required.

With easy to follow step-by-step instructions by Peggy Estabrooks, you’ll love this night of creative fun with your child. Each person will paint their own 11X14 canvas portrait using acrylic paints. Pre – registration required.
