An Open Mic event for writers of all ages and kinds will be held this Sunday, Marcy 26th between 3 and 4:30 pm at the Bill Johnstone Memorial Park Centre in Sackville. Come out and read your poems, short stories, comics, novels, plays, essays, Twitter posts, stand-up comedy, or whichever writing style you embrace. Keep it respectful and inclusive, but otherwise, anything goes. Read your own work or someone else’s – or just come to listen. All are welcome! Tea, hot chocolate and cookies will be provided.
