Food Forest Workshop

Join EOS at the Sackville Community Garden (SCG) on Sunday, July 5 from 1:00-2:30pm for a FREE and exciting workshop about food forests! This workshop will be hosted by Emilie McBride, board member of the SCG and plant expert extraordinaire!
Emilie will go over the types of edible and medicinal plants that can be found in the food forest, as well as how to develop and maintain these spaces. This is a great opportunity to get out to the Sackville Community Garden and learn about all the wonderful things our community has to offer, and the many benefits that these spaces provide!
The workshop will be followed by some light food forest maintenance, where we can get our hands dirty and work together to make the forest more manageable and accessible for the community. Light refreshments will be provided!
