Auditions coming up for Marshlight’s next show

If you’re looking forward to seeing Marshlight Theatre’s next production, why not instead audition for it?

Marshlight’s next show to hit the stage will be Norm Foster’s Self Help,  directed by Paul Griffin, in mid-November. Auditions for the show are set for September 16, 17 and 18 at Marshlight Theatre on the corner of Fairfield and Queens Road.

There are six characters in this riotous farce: Cindy Savage, a second-rate actress who becomes a successful self help guru; Hal Savage, Cindy’s husband and another actor turned guru; Ruby Delvecchio, the couple’s bossy agent, Bernice, a scattered housemaid, Detective Snow, a police investigator, and Jeremy Cash, a nosy investigative reporter.

The auditions will consist of cold reads from the script. If you’d like to read Self Help, you can find it through the database “Drama Online” in the Mount Allison library.

Send an email to info@marshlight.ca for more information. Any questions will only be answered after September 11 when the director returns to Sackville.
