Due to a shortage of physician coverage, Horizon would like to advise the public that the Emergency Department at Horizon’s Sackville Memorial Hospital will be temporarily closed on Sat. Dec. 24th (Christmas Eve), Sun. Dec 25th (Christmas Day), and Sun. Jan. 1st (New Year’s Day). Emergency care will not be offered on any of these dates, and all patients requiring medical care outside of service hours need to seek treatment at another hospital or by another health care provider.
