Kent Jones’s Late Fame follows Ed Saxberger (Willem Dafoe), a forgotten New York poet who has spent decades working quietly at a post office. His life changes when a group of young artists rediscover his old poetry and proclaim him a neglected genius. Suddenly enjoying attention and admiration, Ed becomes fascinated by Gloria (Greta Lee), a charismatic actress and singer. But as he becomes immersed in their artistic circle, he begins to question whether their admiration is genuine and whether this unexpected taste of fame can truly revive the life and ambitions he left behind
