Tantramar VIC Climate Change Walk

On Thursday July 30th from 9-10:30am and 2-3:30pm starting at the Tantramar Visitor Information Centre for a climate change walk to explore how Tantramar is battling climate change. The Tour will start by walking from the biodiverse trails of the Waterfowl Park to the streets of downtown. Along the way, you’ll discover how local wetlands and urban green spaces combat flood risks and heat island effects. Come walk, connect, and see our community’s climate action up close! They will also check out different sustainable highlights like the Lorne Street retention pond and learn how historical spaces like old rail lines have been transformed for a greener future.
