SUMMARY:Starfish Art & Baking Camp ** REGISTER JUNE 1ST
DESCRIPTION:A unique 2-day art and baking camp will be available for youth ages 10-13 who are interested in baking\, art\, and leveling up your drawing skills. If you are curious to try out sculpting\, wood burning\, charcoal\, and ending each day with a home-made treat\, then this is the perfect event. \n\n\n\nThe Starfish camp is led by local artist and educator Kamaya Lindquist\, alongside many experienced counsellors. It will take place on June 29th and June 30th from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. However\, registration should be done before June 1st.  \n\n\n\nGuardians with interested youth can email kamayajamal@gmail.com with the name(s) and age(s) of the participant(s). Both days cost $50 each\, which covers registration and the cost of materials used.  \n\n\n\nThe camp will be taking place at the Sackville Commons on 62 Main Street.

SUMMARY:Indigenous People's Day Geocaching
DESCRIPTION:Celebrate National Indigenous People’s Day all month long with an interactive geocaching event! You can celebrate the local Indigenous community by taking a stroll through the Medicine Trail at Amlamgog and fill out passport sheets for a chance to win $100 in Indigenous goods. \n\n\n\nGeocaching is a recreational activity where you search for objects hidden across a set area using posted GPS coordinates. This specific event can be done through the GEOCACHING app. Passport sheets can be picked up at the Sackville Town Hall\, Gitpu Gas Station\, or by scanning the provided QR code and printing a physical copy. \n\n\n\nThe geocaching event started June 1st and will run until June 30th. On June 3rd is the deadline for passport submissions and June 6th is the prize draw. The starting location is the Medicine Trail head just beside the Fort Folly Habitat Recovery Centre on 88 Bernard Trail.
