On today’s show, the unmistakable A-frame building that once housed the Aulac Visitor Information Centre is no more.  The provincial Department of Transportation and Infrastructure tore down the building this week, with no warning to the municipality of Tantramar, who had recently enquired about the possibility of acquiring the surplus property.

- At their next regular meeting, Tantramar council is expected to consider spending about $16,000 on 27 new streetlights for rural intersections in the municipality, but there are questions about who will cover the costs of the new lights.
- Council will also be asked to approve a $12,000 contract to refurbish the Ferret Scout Car in Sackville’s Memorial Park, which will require the temporary removal of the vehicle from the park.
