Of those, 1,106 were receiving their second dose.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That brings the total number of those vaccinated to 12,142, with 9,457 awaiting their second dose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nova Scotia reported just one new case, and its active case count dropped to 35.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PEI continues its 72 hour red phase as it battles unlinked chains of transmission never before seen on the island. Thankfully, the island\u2019s mass testing over the course of yesterday and the day before yielded no new cases of COVID-19. The active case count remains at 18 so far.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Newfoundland and Labrador has two new cases to report, leaving its total active case count at 236.&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>New Brunswick identified one new case of COVID-19 on Monday.
