{"id":12408,"date":"2021-04-17T09:00:23","date_gmt":"2021-04-17T12:00:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.chmafm.com\/welcome\/?p=12408"},"modified":"2021-04-17T15:43:07","modified_gmt":"2021-04-17T18:43:07","slug":"updated-potential-public-exposures-in-moncton-area-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.chmafm.com\/welcome\/updated-potential-public-exposures-in-moncton-area-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Updated: Champlain Mall, Georges-Dumont Hospital listed in recent COVID-19 exposures"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">New Brunswick Public Health made some updates to its list of&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www2.gnb.ca\/content\/gnb\/en\/corporate\/promo\/covid-19\/potential_public_exposure.html.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">new potential public exposures<\/a>&nbsp;in the Moncton area from April 1 through April 14.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Urban Planet, Walmart and H&amp;M \u2013 CF Champlain<\/strong>&nbsp;(477 Paul St., Dieppe)<ul><li>April 14 between 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre emergency department<\/strong> (330 Universit\u00e9, Moncton)<ul><li>April 12 between 5:45 a.m. and 1 p.m.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre X-ray department<\/strong> (330 Universit\u00e9, Moncton) <ul><li>April 12 between 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>COSTCO Wholesale customer service<\/strong>&nbsp;(140 Granite Drive, Moncton)<ul><li>April 8 between 4:45 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>YMCA Vaughan Harvey<\/strong>&nbsp;(30 War Veterans Ave., Moncton)<ul><li>April 6 between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Moncton Wesleyan Church<\/strong>&nbsp;(945 St. George Blvd., Moncton)<ul><li>April 4 between 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>Kelseys Original Roadhouse<\/strong>&nbsp;(141 Trinity Dr., Moncton)<ul><li>April 3 between 8 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>CF Champlain&nbsp;<\/strong>(477 Paul St., Dieppe)<ul><li>April 1 between 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m.,<\/li><\/ul><ul><li>April 3 between 1:00 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.<\/li><li>April 6 between 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. (<strong>Shoppers Drug Mart cosmetic section<\/strong>)<\/li><li>April 8 between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. (<strong>Food Court<\/strong>)<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Public Health is offering testing for anyone who visited these exposure locations during the specified times, even if they are asymptomatic. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They also recommended avoiding visits to settings with vulnerable populations such as nursing homes, correctional facilities, and shelters over the next 14 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Anyone with one or more COVID-19 symptoms needs to self-isolate and take the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www2.gnb.ca\/content\/gnb\/en\/departments\/ocmoh\/cdc\/content\/respiratory_diseases\/coronavirus\/coronavirusexposure.html#\/app\/symptom-checker\/guides\/399\/what-to-do\">self-assessment online<\/a>,&nbsp;or call 811 to get tested.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Symptoms have included:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Fever&nbsp;<\/li><li>A new cough, or worsening chronic cough<\/li><li>Sore throat<\/li><li>Runny nose<\/li><li>Headache<\/li><li>A new onset of fatigue<\/li><li>Diarrhea<\/li><li>Loss of sense of taste<\/li><li>Loss of sense of smell<\/li><li>In children, purple markings on the fingers and toes<\/li><li>Difficulty breathing<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>New Brunswick Public Health made some updates to its list of&nbsp;new potential public exposures&nbsp;in the Moncton area from April 1 through April 14.
