Photo: Erica Butler<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tonight is Moonlight Madness in downtown Sackville, which includes fireworks starting around 6pm behind Town Hall, as well as wagon rides, and additional vendors on the streets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And just in time to be part of the festivities, a new shop has opened on Bridge Street. Or rather, a reincarnated shop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mary Ann Oster worked for five years at the Snack Shop on York Street, and when owners Mike and Dawn decided to close in October, Mary Ann decided to take the plunge and go into business for herself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Oster\u2019s new version, the Bridge Street Snack Shop, opened on Thursday in the space formerly occupied by The Vapour Trail, and before that, the beloved Thunder and Lightning Pub.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.chmafm.com\/welcome\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/Snack-Shop_20211202_145347.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"559\" height=\"640\" sizes=\"(max-width: 559px) 100vw, 559px\" src=\"https:\/\/www.chmafm.com\/welcome\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/Snack-Shop_20211202_145347.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-18459\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.chmafm.com\/welcome\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/Snack-Shop_20211202_145347.png 559w, https:\/\/www.chmafm.com\/welcome\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/12\/Snack-Shop_20211202_145347-262x300.png 262w\" \/><\/a><figcaption>The blue vinyl covering the windows of the former Vapour Trail is gone, and the Bridge Street Snack Shop is now open for business. The menu at the new Snack Shop will be similar to the old one, and Oster\u2019s new staff is also mostly from the former shop. \u201cThere will be quite a few of them still here,\u201c says Oster. \u201cA lot of familiar faces.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The first day of business went well, says Oster, and she\u2019s looking forward to seeing what Moonlight Madness might bring her way, though she didn\u2019t have specials in mind for the event, yet. \u201cWe&#8217;ve been pretty busy trying to get opening day started,\u201d says Oster. \u201cSo who knows?
