There’s no better time than now to start volunteering with your campus and community radio station, CHMA. The spring and summer months are quickly approaching and what better way to spend an hour a week than to start your own radio show! Come learn valuable transferable skills, get volunteering experience with a non-profit organization, and hone those vocal techniques, all in a fun, creative, and exploratory environment. CHMA Spring Drop-In: Starting Your Own Radio Show <\/strong>(April May 4<\/strong>)<\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Have you ever been interested in being a live radio host? Well now is your opportunity to come learn what it is all about. Tomorrow from 1-3pm<\/strong> drop by the CHMA station on the 3rd floor of the Wallace McCain Student Center to get some hands-on training and a tour of the on-air booth. To have a radio show all you need is an idea, an image and name for your show, and a weekly time slot that works for you \u2014 yessss, it is that easy! CHMA always has space for passionate people to share their voice with the community and we can\u2019t wait to share yours! If Saturday May 4th from 1-3pm does not work well for you please visit chmafm.com\/getinvolved and book a time to meet with us at your convenience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
