R-C-M-P say renewed air and ground searches took place on saturday for two Nova Scotia children reported missing over two weeks ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mounties say teams will focus on specific areas around the road in Lansdowne Station where the home of six-year-old Lilly Sullivan and four-year-old Jack Sullivan is located.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A search that began on May 2nd was scaled back the following week as police said there was little chance the children could have survived so long in the heavily wooded area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nova Scotia\u2019s health authority says it is seeking the power to issue 500-dollar tickets to unauthorized drivers who take advantage of free parking at hospitals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Nova Scotia Health emailed Halifax-area hospital staff yesterday to say it is working to preserve spaces for patients, visitors, and authorized staff and will also offer 175 additional free on-site parking spots to workers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The memo came a day after Health Minister Michelle Thompson acknowledged \u201cgrowing pains\u201d as hospitals adjust to the province’s new free-parking policy that took effect May 1st.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

New Brunswick says the Carleton North Medical Clinic will add staff to its team over the coming months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A news release says the clinic \u2014 which has two full-time family physicians and three part-time physicians \u2014 is expected to add administrative support and nurses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It says this team of health-care professionals can serve 800 patients without a primary-care provider by the end of 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
