Applications open now; deadline <strong>December 11, 2025<\/strong>. Open to both non-profits and businesses.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>New Brunswick SEED Program (Provincial)<\/strong> -Expected deadline <strong>early February 2026 (typically Jan 6 -Feb 7)<\/strong>. Provides up to 12 weeks of fully-funded wages for student hires in non-profit or municipal organizations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Young Canada Works in Both Official Languages (Federal, Canadian Heritage)<\/strong> \u2013 Deadline usually <strong>early February (around Feb 3)<\/strong>. Supports hiring students to work in their second language.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Workplace Connections Program (Provincial)<\/strong> &#8211; Deadline TBD. Offers 12-week, full-salary placements for individuals facing barriers to employment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Kelly Spurles also highlighted the bilingual Young Canada Works stream.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cYoung Canada Works is a federal program run from Heritage and it has several different components. Winter Term<\/strong> &#8211; Employer job descriptions due <strong>early November (around Nov 8-10)<\/strong> for part-time placements (they may be able to extend deadline if contacted immediately, <em><strong>no guarantees<\/strong><\/em>).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Mount Allison Internship Program &#8211; Summer Term<\/strong> &#8211; Employer job descriptions due <strong>early January<\/strong> for summer hires.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Mount Allison Internship Program &#8211;<\/strong> <strong>Student Applications<\/strong> &#8211; Students apply by the <strong>end of January<\/strong>, with a second round in <strong>February<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Student Work Placement Program (SWPP, Federal)<\/strong> &#8211; Deadlines vary by delivery partner, typically <strong>mid-November to December<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Future NB \/ Future NB International (Provincial)<\/strong> &#8211; <strong>Rolling, term-based funding<\/strong> distributed internally by the university.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Next up: taxes and the CRA<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Taylor said the next Entrepreneur Night will tackle another common topic &#8211;
