Submissions were evaluated on community spirit, the rink\u2019s importance locally and how funding would make a difference, alongside rally points earned through community participation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As a provincial and territorial winner, the Tantramar Civic Centre, one of 85 arenas nominated across New Brunswick, is guaranteed a $50,000 prize for arena upgrades, but could receive more if it advances to the final two. The funds will be used to improve accessibility at the facility. Tantramar will also receive $10,000 worth of hockey gear and a donation from Kraft to the local food banks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cTantramar is excited to be part of this Kraft Hockeyville process and would like to thank the judges for their belief in us and the work we do,&#8221; said Mayor Andrew Black. &#8220;We look forward to continuing to prioritize accessibility with our winnings and would encourage all New Brunswickers to rally behind us by sharing our social media posts from @ALCTantramar on Facebook and Instagram.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The next phase of Kraft Hockeyville 2026 begins this Saturday, March 21, when the Top 2 finalists will be announced. Canadians will then have the final say in deciding the 2026 winner through public voting at&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/cts.businesswire.com\/ct\/CT?id=smartlink&amp;url=http%3A%2F%2Fkrafthockeyville.ca&amp;esheet=54448475&amp;newsitemid=20260314020918&amp;lan=en-US&amp;anchor=KraftHockeyville.ca&amp;index=1&amp;md5=1d8eee08d89babca40c1071a421a8e28\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">KraftHockeyville.ca&nbsp;<\/a>on April 3 and 4. The winner will bring home $250,000 and an opportunity to host an NHL pre-season game at their home arena.
