Participants can choose to take part in person at a fun run near them, or try the virtual challenge; both directly support Ducks Unlimited\u2019s wetland conservation efforts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Last year, Duck and Run helped raise over $100,000 to protect Canada&#8217;s wetlands. Wetlands are incredible ecosystems, but across the populated parts of Canada, many have been lost and more are threatened every day. Wetlands play a key role in absorbing and storing carbon, reducing the impact of floods and wildfire, and cleaning water to benefit humans and animals alike.
