Dr. Jennifer Russell announced that New Brunswick’s vaccine statistics will be updated weekly on the pre-existing COVID-19 Dashboard. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As of today, 1,862 people are fully vaccinated, meaning they have been inoculated with two doses of a vaccine. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The province has received 11,175 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, 3,443 of which are being held for a second dose. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

More clinics are being set up in Campbellton, Edmundston, Fredericton, and Saint John. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Priority groups in the area will be contacted, and will be vaccinated this coming week. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

TODAY’S CASE COUNT REMAINS HIGH<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The province reports 21 new cases across multiple health zones today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Four cases are in Zone 1, or the southeast region, including the Sackville area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zone 3 reports seven new cases, Zone 4 has six new cases, and Zone 5 has four new cases. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are 204 active cases of COVID-19 in New Brunswick, 50 of which are in Zone 1. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

One person is in the hospital due to COVID-19.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The province remains at orange level restrictions. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

NO NEW CASES IN ADULT FACILITIES <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Some good news from the update, there are no new confirmed cases in any adult residential facilities where a COVID-19 outbreak was declared.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The facilities include Parkland Saint John, Fundy Royal Manor, Canterbury Hall at Parkland Riverview, and Foyer Ste-Elizabeth, all of which have no new cases to report. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Residents and staff at Parkland Saint John were retested today. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

All staff and residents at all of these facilities will be retested for COVID-19 this week. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

OUTBREAKS AT SCHOOLS<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Two schools in Woodstock, Townsview School and Woodstock High School (Zone 3), closed for an operational response day today. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

All students will begin learning online starting tomorrow, and will continue to stay home for the rest of the week. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Zone 5 also has two schools learning from home. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dalhousie schools Acad\u00e9mie Notre-Dame and \u00c9cole Aux-Quatre-Vents shut its doors for an operational response day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Starting tomorrow, all \u00c9cole Aux-Quatre-Vents classes will attend class online for two weeks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Most Acad\u00e9mie Notre-Dame students will be back in their desks by tomorrow, except for a few classes that will need to stay home for another two weeks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A tenth grade class from Polyvalente Roland-P\u00e9pin, Campbellton, is learning from home as well. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
