A public consultation session on the future of health care in the province will come to Sackville, virtually, in a few weeks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The province announced 15 virtual consultation sessions in all, with the first focussed on Sackville, on March 4th, at 6:30pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Health minister Dorothy Shephard says she is \u201ccommitted to creating a better health-care system,\u201d and, \u201copen to listening to any and all ideas about how that can be accomplished.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Back in January, the province published a discussion paper<\/a> on health care reform which is available online.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The paper proposes its vision for \u201cdependable, sustainable public health care\u201d and breaks down six objectives:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
