Tantramar council adds another RCMP officer to an already increasing complement for 2024

On today’s show, we take a look at Tantramar council’s decision last night to add one additional RCMP officer to an already increasing complement for the new municipality in 2024, despite the low chances of the position actually being filled next year. Plus in briefs, we look at other news coming out of Tuesday’s council meeting, including a rejected application for an indoor air quality project, plans for Dorchester municipal buildings, and a censure for Councillor Debbie Wiggins-Colwell under the town’s code of conduct by-law.
