UPDATE October 20, 2020, 4pm: The Town of Sackville has lifted the boil water advisory for Queens Road.
The town of Sackville says there was a significant water main break on Queens Road on Friday night.
The town posted on social media Saturday morning saying the break had been repaired by the public works crew, “after a long night.”
However, the break has triggered a boil water advisory for Queens Road, between civic numbers 1-38, including Enterprise Street.
This includes the Marshview Middle School.
According to the town’s social media post, other areas throughout the community may experience discolouration in their water. The town recommends running the water for a short period of time for it to clear.
