Garden Talk with Sarah Evans: No Mow May and helping pollinators, plus planning your veggie garden

Erica Butler
CHMA News, Local Journalism Initiative, Community Radio Fund of Canada

This week we talk about the various ways people can help pollinators in their area during No Mow May, including planting native plants, and rethinking the purpose of your lawn and how it fits into your garden space. Plus Sarah shares some information to help with planning your veggie garden, including Sackville’s hardiness zone, and which plants will thrive earlier in the season.

Sarah also reminds everyone of this weekend’s Plant Swap and Sale at the Sackville Community Garden.
