Susan Amos hosts another wonderful and warm conversational show with participants in Marshlight Theatre Company’s upcoming play, Chester Cole Speed Skater.  The play is based on the true story of Sackville native, Chester Cole, who died a tragic death after becoming a world speed skating champion.  Get the inside scoop from cast and crew as they talk about this heartwrenching story by local playwright, Ron Kelly Spurles.  Join us for this special Chit-Chats edition live at 8pm, Sunday, May 31th.
June 14th – Sirens
Susan Amos hosts a wonderful and warm conversational show with members of the Marshlight Theatre Company about their upcoming play, Sirens.
What a story!  Sirens is based on a Greek myth with lots of ‘holding your breath’ moments.  Persephone, daughter of Zeus, king of the gods, is abducted to the Underworld; Persephone’s mother, Demeter, blames Persephone’s companions for the abduction and banishes them to an island where they become Sirens, fated to lure sailors to their deaths.  Listen in as Susan talks to local playwright, Sue Rose, about how she came to write this play.  Learn what the actors who play Persephone and Demeter like most about their characters and what they find most challenging.  And, get to hear from one of the Sirens; will she tell us if she actually lures sailors to their deaths??  Tune in to the next edition of Live Radio Chit-Chats Sunday, June 14th, from 8:00 to 9:00 p.m.
