There’s a glimmer of hope in Tuesday’s COVID numbers from the province: New Brunswick had its lowest daily new case count since January 3rd, with just 10 new cases reported.
One new case was reported in Zone 1, where there are now 95 active cases.
The Edmundston region reported 5 new cases, Saint John reported three new cases, and Cambpellton reported one new case.
The total number of active cases in the province dropped to 339 yesterday, but the active cases for Zone 1 went up by one, to 95.
Testing continues at an elevated level since the current outbreak began, with nearly 2000 test results in province wide yesterday, and just over 800 of those in Zone 1.
And Sackville’s new testing site is now in operation at the Tantramar Civic Centre. The site is temporary, and cannot be selected in the government’s online form for requesting COVID testing, however it can be requested over the phone when public health officials call to schedule your test.
