On today’s show, we revisit our Stuff of History series and head over to the Keillor House museum in Dorchester to check out a cylindrical music box believed to have been given as a wedding gift from one of Canada’s Fathers of Confederation.

And in briefs:

  • The Confederation Bridge will open up to walkers, runners and rollers on September 21st for the 45th annual Terry Fox Run, but first organizers need volunteers to help with logistics, safety, and hospitality.
  • Local residents will have a chance to ask questions and share concerns about a proposed gas plant in rural Tantramar in two public meetings on August 12 and 13, as part of the provincial Environmental Impact Assessment process.
