Deadline approaching for Mount Allison students and winter courses

Students at Mount Allison University are facing an important academic deadline on Thursday, Jan. 16.

It is the final day to register in three-credit winter term courses, making it the last opportunity to add a class for the term.

January 16 is also the deadline to withdraw from year-long one, three, and six-credit courses. Any student who remains registered after this date will stay enrolled and will receive a final grade, even if they stop attending.

That can have academic and financial consequences, including impacts on GPA, degree progression, and student funding or loans.

Students who are unsure about their course load, workload, or personal circumstances are encouraged to review their schedules now and make changes before the deadline.

Information on how to drop a course, along with academic advising supports, is available through Mount Allison’s student services.
