The Bragg Artist Colloquium Musicum presents My Life in Music, a biographical chat and interview with Bragg Artist-in-Residency Emily Beynon on Wednesday, February 25, starting at 4:00 p.m. in Brunton Auditorium at the Marjorie Young Bell Conservatory of Music, Brunton Auditorium, 134 Main Street, Sackville. Admission is free, and everyone is welcome. - Bagtown’s Trivia Night – Wednesday, February 25
The winter trivia series at Bagtown Brewing Company kicks off this Wednesday, with Marcie and Jenna hosting and a themed round on ‘2025’. Doors open at five in the evening, and trivia begins at seven. The door cover is a minimum donation of $2.50, which includes one drink ticket. Alcoholic options are $7.50, and non-alcoholic options are $5. Throughout the winter, teams will be playing for Bagtown pints, and there will be an attendance draw at the end of the series. - Bragg Artist Public Talk: A Creative Collaboration – Thursday, February 26

Owens Art Gallery invites film lovers to a classic cinema night with a free screening of The Trial on Friday, February 27, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Directed by Orson Welles and inspired by Franz Kafka’s unsettling novel. Admission is free, so people can drop in, grab a seat, and enjoy a memorable big-screen experience at the Owens Art Gallery. - Bragg Artist Guest Recital: Masterworks for Flute and Piano – Friday, February 27
Bragg Artist-in-Residency Emily Beynon on flute and Andrew West on piano perform masterworks from the 1930s and 1940s on Friday, February 27, starting at 7:30 p.m. in Brunton Auditorium at the Marjorie Young Bell Conservatory of Music, 134 Main Street. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 dollars for seniors and students, and $30 for families, with cash sales at the door. Marshlight Theatre Company presents Late Company, a sharp and tense drama by Jordan Tannahill where a family dinner becomes a confrontation about grief, blame, and what closure really looks like. Ducky’s is keeping Saturday afternoons lively with Open Mic Night on Saturday, February 28, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Ducky’s Pub. The stage is open to acoustic musicians, poets, comedians, and anyone with something creative to share, whether it is a first-time performance or a regular set. Audience members can come to take the mic, support friends, or just settle in with a drink and enjoy a relaxed local showcase. Acoustic acts only, and Ducky’s provides the mic. - Pop Up Thrift Shop and Thrifted Fashion Show – Sunday, March 1
Mount Allison Rotaract Club hosts a Pop Up Thrift Shop and Thrifted Fashion Show in partnership with Second Chances Thrift Store on Sunday, March 1, from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m., with doors opening at 7:00 p.m., in Tweedle Hall at the Wallace McCain Student Centre. The event raises funds to support Sackville’s local food bank. Tickets are $2 in Jennings on February 26, 27, and 28 with cash only, or $5 at the door by cash or e-transfer. Volunteers are also invited to model a thrifted outfit and walk the runway, with no experience needed, and sign-ups are open until February 26 through @secondchancessackville on Instagram. - Rueda de Casino Monday Nights – Monday, March 2
Rueda de Casino is a fun social Cuban circle dance with upbeat music and lots of laughter, running Monday nights from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Sackville Curling Club. No partner or prior dance experience is required, and the group restarts from the beginning when new dancers join, making this a great time to jump in. The atmosphere is friendly and energetic with no pressure to be good at dancing, and a mix of skill levels helps newcomers pick up the steps quickly. The cost is typically $5- $6 per night, depending on attendance. - Winter Ultimate Frisbee – Tuesday, March 3
Winter Ultimate Frisbee is back at Church by the Lake, with indoor games on Tuesdays from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 24. The league offers a way to stay active through the winter in a friendly setting, with a $25 registration fee that goes toward the gym rental fee. Ducky’s is kicking off March with Los Desperados on Wednesday, March 4, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. and the music starting at 7:00 p.m. Los Desperados is Ontario’s high-energy Eagles tribute band, bringing big harmonies, tight musicianship, and all the classic hits people know by heart, including Hotel California. Led by Cory Maxam and Izzy Martinez, the band leans into the full Eagles sound, so it can feel like stepping into another decade for a night. Tickets are $20 or pay what you can. - EXIT 26 – Wednesday, March 4 to Saturday, March 7
EXIT 26 is a bilingual Tintamarre comedy that follows a rehearsal of Sartre’s Huis clos as the stage is disrupted by characters from other plays, creating a haunted and playful theatre world that still ends on a joyful note. Performances run March 4 to March 7, starting at 7:30 p.m. in Motyer Fancy Theatre at the Purdy Crawford Centre for the Arts, 152 Main Street. Tickets are $5 and are available on Ticket Owl.
