The Amherst Stadium at 185 Church Street has reopened to the public following its annual spring maintenance closure.
The stadium is a key recreational facility in Amherst, hosting a range of activities throughout the year, from skating and hockey to community events. It had been closed since April 20 to allow for seasonal upkeep and preparation ahead of increased spring and summer use.
Town officials say the work is part of routine maintenance to ensure the building and its systems are ready for ongoing programming.
With the reopening on May 4, regular activities and bookings are expected to resume, including ice use and community programming.
Residents are encouraged to check updated schedules and availability as programming ramps back up in the coming days.
The town says a full slate of spring and early summer programming is expected in the coming weeks.
Users can view upcoming events and facility schedules through the town’s website.
