On today’s show, we look at some of the decisions and discussions coming out of this week’s Tantramar council meeting, including:
- Postponing a decision on the idea of paying consultants $15,000 to create a corporate plan for the municipality, after three councillors spoke in opposition.
- Spending about $100,000 to keep the Sackville water supply in good working order, by installing a new low lift pump and refurbishing the exisiting pumps in turn.
- Approving a final version of a new Tantramar street and pole banner policy, which exempts the Veterans Banner program from limits on quantity and storage.
