Mount Allison University is inviting local students to explore astronomy through a hands-on outreach event this week.

Let’s Talk Science at Mount Allison is hosting an Observatory Night for students in grades 5 through 8 on Wednesday evening, beginning at 7 p.m.
The event will include interactive science activities followed by time at the university’s observatory, where participants will have the opportunity to learn about space and astronomy with the help of student volunteers.
The program is part of Let’s Talk Science, a national initiative that connects youth with science, technology, engineering, and math through experiential learning.
Organizers say the goal is to spark interest in STEM fields by giving students direct exposure to scientific concepts in an engaging, accessible environment.
