On today’s show: thousands of walkers and runners will take over the Confederation Bridge on September 21 to participate in the 45th annual Terry Fox Run. The event will take a significant volunteer effort, and Strait Shores resident Sharon Allen is hoping to recruit about 90 people to help the event go smoothly on the New Brunswick side of the bridge.
We hear from Allen, as well as Tantramar mayor Andrew Black and tourism manager Ron Kelly-Spurles, who have both experienced the bridge run first hand, about the “incredible experience” of being on Canada’s longest bridge without a car.
