Police in Saint John, New Brunswick, have launched an investigation after finding an unconscious man at a home on Carleton Street.
Investigators say the 34-year-old was found unconscious with serious injuries at a residence just before 11 P-M last night.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
A major crime unit believes the death is an isolated incident and says no arrest has been made so far.

(NB-Nurses-Agreement)
New Brunswick has reached a tentative collective agreement with the union representing nurses across the province.
The government revealed the agreement in a release, but says both parties have agreed to withhold details until the deal is ratified.
The New Brunswick Nurses Union represents more than nine-thousand nurses, nurse practitioners, and licensed practical nurses working in hospitals.
It also speaks for nurses working in public and community health programs and Ambulance N-B.

New Brunswick’s elections agency is warning that its outdated management system and other issues are putting its ability to run a free and fair vote at risk.
In an annual report, Elections New Brunswick says an old elections management system and a lack of rules to protect voter privacy are potential problems.
It also cites a rise in foreign and domestic disinformation campaigns as another issue.
The agency says the provincial government has rejected a funding request for new election management software due to the seller being a United States-based company.

Public Health officials in New Brunswick have declared an end to the measles outbreak in the Sussex region.
In a release, the agency says the last case was confirmed on July 19th.
The outbreak was declared on July 14th and spread to 15 people.
Public Health hosted vaccine clinics in the region during the surge, urging the public to remain vigilant and up to date with their vaccinations.

A woman has been ordered to stand trial for murder in the hit-and-run death of a man in St. John’s, Newfoundland last year.
The 37-year-old accused is alleged to have hit a 41-year-old with her Honda Civic sedan in mid-August of 2024 near Mount Royal and Golf avenues.
After striking the victim, she allegedly sped off, leaving the man on the road with serious injuries, who later died in hospital.
The accused is facing two other charges, including failing to stop after an accident and dangerous driving causing death.

Mounties in Halifax say they’ve arrested a youth for making threats towards students and staff at a school in Middle Sackville.
R-C-M-P say they are investigating an online post showing the accused on school property holding an airsoft gun while making threats to harm staff and students.
The 16-year-old was arrested at a home and charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
The youth has since been released on conditions and is expected to appear in court at a later date.
