Here are the steps to broadcast a live stream connected to our Airtime Pro server through Mixxx or Ladiocast (or any other). It’s assumed you have experience with CHMA’s systems and access to our Playout through VNC. If you don’t, reach out to station@chmafm.com for training and access.
You can check chma.airtime.pro to confirm if you’ve connected. If you see ‘LiveDJ”, then you’re good. You can also test by listening to the Airtime Stream at https://chma.out.airtime.pro/chma_a . You can listen to test levels before you connect to our main broadcast. Please be careful to not test during a show that uses Airtime Pro.
Once you’re sure you’ve connected to Airtime Pro, then proceed.
- Open VNC Viewer
- In Megaseg search bar type “Airtime”
- Select the URL and use the single arrow to place in cue. When the URL loads into the first playing position, you’re live.
- When done, press “advance” to get out of live broadcast.
- Always check if you’re live by accessing our player at www.chmafm.com or tuning into 106.9 FM.
