Do you have any electronic waste, furniture, small household machinery, or household hazardous waste you’d like to get rid of? On November 7th and 8th, Tantramar residents can bring their waste to the Mobile Eco-Depot, which will be at the Dorchester Veterans Community Centre from noon to 8 pm. The Mobile Eco-Depot travels throughout the counties of Westmorland and Albert to help communities manage waste sustainably. Materials must be boxed, bagged, or bundled for easy unloading. Items that will not be accepted include gas or oil tanks, regular curbside waste, car parts, biomedical waste, or anything in a black bag. For a full list of accepted items, and how to package them, head to eco360.ca.
November 7th.
