There will be a Writers’ Open Mic Afternoon on Sunday, November 26th from 3:00 – 4:30 pm at the Bill Johnstone Memorial Park Activity Centre. This is a free event for writers of all ages, styles, and backgrounds. Come out and read your poems, short stories, novels, plays, essays, twitter posts, and stand-up comedy skits. Read your own work, someone else’s, or just come to listen. A projector will be set up for those with comics, videos, or other images they want to share. Images or videos can be brought on a USB or sent in advance to laurawatsonartwork@gmail.com. Everyone is welcome and they are asking everyone to please wear a mask.
