Police in Nova Scotia say they’ve identified one of two bodies that were found earlier this month in a small boat that washed ashore on Sable Island.
R-C-M-P say they’ve confirmed one body belongs to a 70-year-old man from British Columbia who set sail from Halifax Harbour on June 11th aboard the Theros.
The Mounties are still working to identify the second body, though investigators are confident they belong to a 54-year-old woman from British Columbia who was also aboard the Theros.
Police say they are not releasing the name of the man, nor the woman, out of respect for their families.

R-C-M-P in central New Brunswick are investigating a crash that led to the death of a 23-year-old man in Northumberland County.
They say officers responded to a call about an all-terrain-vehicle crash on a trail off of Howard Road on Saturday afternoon.
Police say the driver, who was the only occupant of the vehicle, was taken to hospital and was later pronounced dead as a result of his injuries.
Police say they believe the A-T-V left the road and rolled over, ejecting the driver.

(NS-Motorcycle-Fatal)
Police in Nova Scotia say a 78-year-old woman from Lunenburg was killed Sunday when the Harley-Davidson motorcycle she was riding on went into a ditch.
R-C-M-P say officers responded to a call about a motorcycle crash in First South at about 3:30 p-m Sunday.
They say the motorcycle was travelling west on Highway 332 when it left the road and went into a ditch.
The Mounties say the female passenger was pronounced dead at the scene, and the 76-year-old male driver from Lunenburg was taken to hospital.

Police in New Brunswick say they found human remains along the shore of Burnt Church River while they were searching for a missing man.
R-C-M-P say the remains were discovered along the river in the Esgenoôpetitj (Es-kin-OH-bey-deeshk) First Nation area on Sunday evening.
They were found in an area of interest in the search for a missing 33-year-old man from the First Nation.
The Mounties say efforts are ongoing to identify the remains.

Police in New Brunswick say they’re investigating the death of a 39-year-old man in Lower Hainesville as a homicide.
R-C-M-P say they responded to a report of a sudden death at a residence in the area at about 8:20 a-m on Sunday.
They say officers found the body of a man in the house’s driveway.
The Mounties have deemed the death suspicious and they’re asking anyone with information about it to come forward.

The Ambulatory Care Clinic at the Labrador West Health Centre is reopening this morning after the facility was closed because of wildfires.
Newfoundland and Labrador Health Services says staff will contact patients in the coming days to reschedule their appointments.
Premier Andrew Furey announced over the weekend that the evacuation order for Labrador City would be lifted completely on Monday.
The end of the order came 10 days after more more than seven-thousand Labrador residents were asked to leave because an abrupt change in weather conditions caused a previously smouldering wildfire to grow quickly and advance toward the town.
