R-C-M-P in New Brunswick say a 42-year-old man has been arrested following an investigation into 3-D printed firearms.
They say officers received a report on Thursday of a person who was allegedly manufacturing and selling 3-D printed guns at their home on Route 130, in Aroostook.
Police say they executed two search warrants and found a number of items, including a 3-D printed gun, ammunition, numerous gun parts, a 3-D printer, ammunition manufacturing components, prohibited magazines and electronic devices.
They say they believe some of these items may be related to other ongoing investigations in the area.

Police say they shot and killed three dogs that were attacking a woman inside her Halifax home.
Halifax Regional Police say officers responded to a call that three large dogs were attacking a woman on Frederick Avenue yesterday.
Officers entered the residence, and while attempting to save the woman, police say the dogs turned on them and one of the officers shot and killed the three dogs.
The woman was taken to hospital to be treated for injuries from the attack that are not considered life-threatening, and the officers were not injured.

(OBIT-PEI-Andrews)
The hockey community and P-E-I’s premier are paying tribute following the death of Allan Andrews, founder of a renowned hockey school on the Island.
R-C-M-P confirmed yesterday that the 83-year-old Andrews was found dead after he was reported missing in the Canoe Cove area on Monday.
In a statement, Hockey P-E-I called Andrews a “revered figure” in the hockey community, while Premier Dennis King also issued a statement saying Andrews dedication to “fostering skill, discipline and sportsmanship” created a lasting legacy.
Andrews was awarded the Order of Canada in 2017 and was inducted into the P-E-I Sports Hall of Fame in 2021.

R-C-M-P in Nova Scotia say they’re investigating reports of shots fired between two cars in East Preston.
Police say around 1 p-m Monday they responded to a report of shots fired on Bell Street, and when officers arrived at the scene both vehicles had already fled the area.
There were no injuries reported.

The man said to have created Newfoundland’s Screech-in ceremony has died.
Myrle Vokey died on Saturday at the age of 85.
Born in Bell Island, Vokey worked for the province’s teachers’ and school board associations, and he was president of the national and provincial Red Cross.
Vokey is said to have come up with the Screech-in ceremony while he was attending Atlantic teachers’ conferences and looking for a traditional fishermen ceremony that would welcome outsiders as honorary Newfoundlanders.

The Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation has released its first-quarter financial results showing sales up 1.5 per cent to 222.5 million dollars for the period April 1st to June 30th.
The corporation says beverage alcohol sales increased 0.7 per cent to 191.3 million, and cannabis sales increased 7.3 per cent to 31.2 million dollars.
However, overall earnings decreased 0.5 per cent to 70.4 million dollars
