
There are 14 new cases of COVID-19 in New Brunswick, bringing the active case count to 264.
There were more recoveries than new cases today, 17 to be exact, so the active case count has shrunk since yesterday.
Four of the new cases are in Zone 1 (Moncton), and are in an individual 19 and under; an individual 20-29; an individual 40-49; and an individual 60-69.
Zone 3 (Fredericton) has just one new case, and the majority of the new cases are once again in Zone 4 (Edmonston).
Zone 4 has nine new cases to announce.
Five people are in the hospital, with three of them in intensive care.
Zone 1 remains in the red and Zone 4 in lockdown with no sign of budging any time soon.
Nova Scotia has just one new case related to travel outside of Atlantic Canada in the province’s Central health zone.
PEI has no new cases, and only two active cases left.
All Islanders 80 years of age or older can now request an appointment to be vaccinated starting tomorrow.
PEI’s vaccination clinics will begin on February 22nd.
