Weeks before Tantramar’s municipal election day on May 11, voters in Tantramar will have a chance to hear directly from municipal candidates at a community-organized forum.

Organized by the Citizens Committee for Informed Elections, the ‘All-Candidates Forum’ is scheduled for Tuesday, April 28 at 7pm at the Church by the Lake in Middle Sackville and is open to the public.
Topics may range from local priorities such as infrastructure, economic development, and community services, to ongoing concerns around energy costs, housing, and municipal governance.
Organizers say forums like this are meant to give voters a clearer sense of where candidates stand and to encourage informed participation in the election.
