R-C-M-P in Nova Scotia are investigating a report of shots fired that occurred in the Halifax area over the weekend.
Police say they responded to a report of shots fired at a home in North Preston at 1:20 a-m Saturday.
When they arrived at the scene, officers found damage consistent with bullet holes.
No one was injured in the incident, and two vehicles were seen near the residence around the time of the reported shooting.

Nearly 10 years after an armed man killed three Mounties in Moncton, New Brunswick, the R-C-M-P have yet to fully implement a key recommendation from a 2014 review aimed at preventing such deadly encounters.
On the evening of June 4th, 2014, Justin Bourque used a semi-automatic rifle to kill constables Fabrice Gevaudan, David Ross and Douglas Larche — and the killer remained at large for 29 hours before he was arrested.
A review by a retired Mountie led to a series of recommendations, including a call for police to improve how it trains front-line supervisors.
By March 31st of last year, only 14 per cent of constables had taken the advanced course, even though the R-C-M-P’s target was 55 per cent.

(NS-Campaign-Schools)
Nova Scotia is launching three so-called “campaign schools” ahead of this fall’s municipal elections.
The object is to encourage more people to run for office and learn about how to run an election campaign.
Participants will be able to have the cost of child care reimbursed after the session.
Halifax Regional Municipality councillor Lisa Blackburn says she’s a proud graduate of a previous campaign school, and says they’re a great opportunity for people to learn what’s involved in running for office.

The Department of National Defence is advising Halifax-area residents that it is conducting drone training this week.
The training for members of the Royal Canadian Navy will take place today through Friday at the Bedford Rifle Range from 8 a-m to 3:30 p-m.
During this time people in the area may see several drones flying between 200 and 200 feet above ground.

Two students from Newfoundland have each been awarded scholarships worth 70-thousand dollars for their efforts in promoting food sustainability.
Kasey Budgell from King’s Point and Leah Casey from Conception Bay South were announced by T-D as scholarship winners this weekend.
Also named as recipients are Jackson Hurley from Halifax and Inemesit Usoro-Udo from Saint John, New Brunswick.
