A CHMA weekly update? Yes! We’re doing our best to keep our community up on the “What’s up?”. The social media ban isn’t going away anytime soon, so we’re going to give this a try to see how it goes. This will be dedicated to all things CHMA and Attic Broadcasting. If you have something you’d like to include, please forward it to station@chmafm.com and we’ll include it in the next post. Big thanks to Sailee for putting it together.
New Shows!
A giant “Welcome!” to Spanish Bombs, Da Capo, Fun, Fresh and for Real, Dad’s Vinyl Collection Show, Radio Rascal, Appalachian Trail, and Treadmill Terror. 7 new and very exciting shows! and it’s really great to have Nostalgia Hour, Cosmic Mix, Microcosms and Safarnama returning after a summer break. It wouldn’t be right to not point out that we have an incredibly high number of continuous programming that keeps the air electric so a big thanks to Quesadilla de Albañil, The Night Shift, Strange Notes, Selective Memory, Grotheries, Allegro, Mixtape Sessions, The Kavana Show, Psycho Killer Radio Show, Blind Date, KulPop, Blue Enchilada, Banzai’s Classic’s (38 Years!), Bed and Beckfast, Sunshine After Dark and all the daytime host for putting the work in.

Fall Drop-in!
We’ll be having the doors open and CHMA Staff on hand if you, or anyone you know, would like to come ask questions, use the studios, record your show promo or anything else. Saturdays 1-3pm and Tuesdays 7-9pm. A special thanks to JC and Aiko for hosting. We’re also looking for volunteers to help with these sessions and to come out to the Farmers Market, Midnight Madness and other events. If interested, send JC a note at jc@chmafm.com.
New Staff!
Welcome to JC Dunsmore and Louisa Whitmore. JC is joining us under a grant we received earlier this year from the Canadian Radio Fund of Canada. They’ll be working with us on Community Outreach and Programming so keep an eye out for lots of fun initiatives. CD/Yard Sale, November 4th, 1-3pm
We’re raising some funds and making some space. Out with the old, in with the new. Just a small gathering, an excuse to hang. We’ll be spinning some vinyl (not for sale!). We still have boxes of donated CD’s that we’re not keeping and a few things from the Promo’s that come in that would be really great to pass along to other souls that might vibrate from aural exposure and a couple of pieces of radio-related things we don’t need anymore.
and Happy Halloween!
