Food Recall: Sardines

Clover Leaf brand Sardines Boneless Fillets – Garlic and Chive in Oil and Smoked Jalapeno in Oil have been recalled because they may permit the growth of clostridium botulinum. If you consumed one of these products and think you may have become sick, consult a doctor immediately. If you purchased these items, dispose of them or return them to where you bought them. Clostridium botulinum does not always make food smell or look spoiled, but it can still make you sick. Check the Canadian Food Inspection Agency’s website for more information.
