Home Alone Virtual Program

St. John Ambulance and Sackville Recreation are putting on a virtual “Home Alone” program for kids! The course teaches children how to stay at home alone safely while parents or guardians are at work or running an errand. The program covers basic safety tips, home safety procedures, when to call 911, fighting boredom, overcoming fears, fire safety, obtaining emergency help, healthy eating, and basic first aid. The program is targeted for kids between the ages of 9 and 11, and costs $25 per participant. Pre-register by Valentine’s Day (February 14th) at sackville.com/programs to attend the workshop digitally on February 20th from 10am to 12:30pm. If you have any questions, call 364-4930 or email m.pryde@sackville.com.
